I think that Rukku and Viji runaway idea was good for them both. I think it was an a good idea because Appa is abusive. Staying in an abusive household isn’t a good idea. Staying in an abusive household can give constant fear and anxiety which isn’t a good thing. Running away from a abusive household is a good idea. You might also get trauma for it as well. So in my opinion Rukku and Viji runaway idea was great for both of them.

I think Amma is a better parent than Appa.On page 4 she cooked food for Viji’s birthday which she normally doesn’t do. Amma doing that is kind and Appa isn’t kind. On one of the pages he broke Amma arm which nice parents wouldn’t do. I think being a good parent is to be kind to your children and others.

I gave it five stars because it was about a book about homeless people, it made it more interesting,and I liked the way they made necklaces for stuff.

Rukku

Rukku is my favorite character because Rukku seems very nice,caring and Rukku seems like a person to help others! I think Rukku made the idea to make necklaces for money which helped them a lot.

Favorite moment

My favorite moment was when Rukku and the others made necklaces and sell them for money! It made me happy knowing that they had money for food. That was my favorite moment because it just was a good moment for them which is a good thing for them. Which made me happy!

I think Celina Aunty is a good person because she runs a home for children. According to the text she runs homes and she puts the kids at school. Putting the kids at school can help them be mature and they can be smarter. Kids that go school will help them learn more and know more. I think Celina can be mean though. I think the place is a great home for Rukku and the others. On page 111 someone gave Rukku beads for free which I think is nice.
