I think Isabella’s dad is a good person. I think that because Isabella’s dad seems like he always tries to make his daughter happy. For example on chapter 11 (36) Isabella says,”I figure he must be good at his job, because he always has a lot of cash to spend on me”. Which makes me think that he is a good dad!
Blended(chpt 1-10)
I feel bad for Isabella. I feel bad for her simply because her parents have divorced very recently, Isabella thinks it is her fault, also because she spilled Kool-Aid, and she forgot to wash the dishes. Her dad moves away, and her mom found a new boyfriend which Isabella still misses her dad.
When Stars Are Scattered (final blog post)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I gave the book five stars because I liked how it shows the future, the past at the same time, and how good the author made the pictures look.
Favorite character
My favorite character is Omar because there is more information about Omar than everything else. He is also the main character.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment was when they went to America. That was my favorite moment because they had waited for years to go, they finally went.
When Stars Are Scattered
I feel bad for Omar, Hassan. For example they left their home, that must be really hard to leave behind. They also had to leave their mother too! They had to live in a new country after, they had to get a foster mom. They had to leave her behind too.
When Stars Are Scattered
I think Omar did the right thing. I believe that it was a right thing for Omar to take the exam instead of taking care of his brother. He has to realize that his brother doesn’t need him 24/7.
When stars are scattered
I think Omar should go to school. For example he has always been with his brother, been there to protect him, but he should try to change stuff in his life. Though that is nice of him to protect his brother he should get some education. Since he has never been to school.
The Giver summary
The giver by Lois Lowry is a story about a guy named Jonas, he was in a community that had sameness. There was good effects about this, bad effect. In the beginning Jonas had a apple which he kinda stole. After he did that he started seeing stuff differently. In the middle of the story he became the giver. Then he saw color, the color was red. He also saw a release, which normally you can’t do that at his age. He saw stuff differently, he was mad about release, and sameness. So he left, got someone with him.
Final Blog post ( Amal Unbound)
⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I gave this book 5 stars. I gave it five stars because I liked how the book is, and it was very interesting. It was also very fun to read.
Amal
Amal is my favorite character because she has always been helpful to her mother, and her teacher. She was also very caring because she was willing to stay home just to help around the house.
My favorite moment
My favorite moment was when Amal said no to guy who wanted something that was hers.
Amal Unbound (18-24)
I feel bad for Amal since she got hit by a car, the man wanted something from Amal, she said no. Which her dad yelled at Amal for not giving it to him. After the man wanted Amal to work for him since she didn’t give him it, her parents owe them money which they haven’t paid them either.
The Giver
I think that sameness is weird in their world, but there is some good things about it as well. For example they can’t see color which it could help others not get made fun of because of their skin color. Since they can’t see it. And there isn’t any weather, snow, and more. Which is weird, and they also don’t know that sunburn exist as well. They also have pills that stop pain.
